We remove your existing standard cylinder and install the high-security one. Same lock body, same bolt, same trim. Just a much better cylinder.

Can High-Security Locks Be Part of a Master Key System?

Yes. All three brands support master key hierarchies with restricted keyways. Grand master, sub-masters, and individual keys, all with restricted blanks that can't be copied without authorization. This gives you both key control AND tiered access. The best of both worlds.

What Does the Installation Process Look Like?

Step 1: Site assessment. Triton Locksmith Plantation inspects your existing hardware, door prep, and access requirements. We identify which cylinder type fits your current lock bodies and whether any doors need different treatment (fire-rated doors have specific hardware requirements under NFPA 80).

Step 2: Brand and keyway selection. Based on your security needs, budget, and environment, we recommend Medeco, Mul-T-Lock, or Abloy.
