• Spring hinges: Self-closing hinges with an internal spring. Used where a door closer is not practical or desirable. Common on restroom doors and interior office doors.

Common Hinge Problems on Commercial Doors

If a door goes through hinge sets every 2-3 years, a continuous hinge eliminates the problem permanently. Continuous hinges run the full height of the door, distributing the weight across the entire edge instead of concentrating it at three points.
